Our membership is about 150 and active in dinghies and cruisers - some members sail both. The cruisers are raced in two classes on handicap: the dinghies currently likewise, but have strong representation from Lasers (various) and Toppers which may lead to formation of separate classes. The Club has a small fleet of Toppers and a Wanderer for instruction (we are a RYA Training Centre) and beginners are encouraged to join in races in them.
The Sound of Kerrera and Oban Bay provide interesting and very scenic sailing for our shorter, evening races and a number of local islands/rocks are circumnavigated in weekend events. The Club is one member of the Joint Regatta Committee that runs West Highland Yachting Week
