The Club is located at the north end of Belmont Harbor in Chicago. It was founded in 1973. Membership in the Belmont Yacht Club is open to all who share a common interest and enthusiasm in recreational boating, whether power or sail.

Carlyle Lake is the largest man-made lake in Illinois with an extensive sailing fleet served by four marinas Boulder Yacht Club is an active organization which strives to foster a complete range of activities for its members. The Burnham Park Yacht Club is situated in the newly configured Museum Campus Area of Chicago's lakefront and is located on Northerly Island which forms the Eastern shore of Burnham Harbor, the most sheltered harbor in Chicago.
The clubhouse provides views facing the harbor, offering magnificent views of the harbor activity as well as a panoramic vista of Chicago's skyline, said to be the most exquisite view of Chicago.
The Commodore presides over an active racing club that features a junior program, predicted log racers in powerboating, leading one-design, and big boat/ocean sailboat racers.
The Burnham Park Yacht Club is one of the most active yacht clubs in the Chicago Area. Activities involve all facets of recreational boating including sail, power, educational and social. The sail fleet involves a variety of interests from pure racing to casual cruising. The club sponsors five offshore racing regattas each season.

One of the most unique features of the Chicago Yacht Club is that we occupy not just one, but two stations. These two very different, yet equally engaging, clubhouses sit in two of the most scenic and convenient locations in Chicago. The Monroe and Belmont Stations are lively centers for all our yachting activities and club events, from fine dining and holiday galas, to theater parties and brunch before Bears games. Both of our clubhouses offer convenient parking, transient slips for members and visiting yachtsmen, shower and locker room facilities, and excellent private rooms for meetings, receptions, and other gatherings.
The Cruising Sail Fleet is an active fleet of sailors interested in cruising to ports on Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes, to distant ports of call (some have been to the Caribbean and around the world!), or just local cruising with family and friends.
The One-Design racing calendar has included the following in years past: Etchells, J24, Soling, Shields, and International 110 Class National and World Championships the Timme Angsten National Collegiate Dinghy Championships the Jimmy Talbot Memorial Laser Regatta and the US Sailing Youth Championship. The Club also maintains launching and dry-sailing facilities for various one-design class boats.

Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club is situated at Montrose Harbor, the most northerly of Chicago's harbors. Founded in 1934 Corinthian has over 400 members and is one of the friendliest and oldest yacht clubs on the Great Lakes. We host a number of national regattas as well as weekend and club racing for Offshore and One Design.
