Open BIC: The fast, planing hull of the Open Bic gives a dynamic sailing experience of a true dinghy that heels. With its 60-foot Open design, including a totally open self draining stern, even capsizing is fun!
VANGUARD 420: Ideal for crews ranging in size from 220-310 lbs., the 420 is manageable for sailors coming out of the Optimist class and enables young sailors to learn teamwork skills that simply cant be learned in single-handed boats. Charleston Community Sailing Inc. has a fleet of 13 competitive 420s for use in the summer program.

The Columbia Sailing Club, located on Lake Murray, is organized as a nonprofit corporation under the laws of the State of South Carolina, and is committed to providing educational and training programs to the community on all aspects of sail boating. Concord Yacht Club is devoted to the promotion of sailing and sailboat racing. To fulfill this purpose, the club provides facilities, racing equipment, sailing instruction, social events, racing activities, and cruising events. Concord Yacht Club, together with the University of Tennessee sailing club, owns a fleet of eight JY-15 sailboats. The boats are used for training and racing. Club members who wish to access the JY-15 boats are required to pay a user''s fee. (Club Owned JY15''s) The club also owns several Optimist Prams that are used for sailing instruction, several Sunfish, and a keel boat.
