One of the most unique features of the Chicago Yacht Club is that we occupy not just one, but two stations. These two very different, yet equally engaging, clubhouses sit in two of the most scenic and convenient locations in Chicago. The Monroe and Belmont Stations are lively centers for all our yachting activities and club events, from fine dining and holiday galas, to theater parties and brunch before Bears games. Both of our clubhouses offer convenient parking, transient slips for members and visiting yachtsmen, shower and locker room facilities, and excellent private rooms for meetings, receptions, and other gatherings.

The Cruising Sail Fleet is an active fleet of sailors interested in cruising to ports on Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes, to distant ports of call (some have been to the Caribbean and around the world!), or just local cruising with family and friends.

The One-Design racing calendar has included the following in years past: Etchells, J24, Soling, Shields, and International 110 Class National and World Championships the Timme Angsten National Collegiate Dinghy Championships the Jimmy Talbot Memorial Laser Regatta and the US Sailing Youth Championship. The Club also maintains launching and dry-sailing facilities for various one-design class boats.

We're an active sailing club located on beautiful Prairie Creek Reservoir just a few miles southeast of Muncie, Indiana. Our primary purpose is to promote sailing. We do this by maintaining facilities for mooring and launching sailboats, facilitating various training programs and by providing exciting social, racing and sailing programs. The sailing events include both competitive racing and non-competitive sailing events.

Moonlight sails and "sailing in concert" on holidays have become very popular sails. We conduct a competitive racing event nearly every Sunday of the season, including the annual "Mayor''s Cup" and "Ladies Only" regattas. Socials include a variety of events such as Memorial Day Breakfast, Harbor Dance, Raft Up feasts and Labor Day Steak Grill. Muncie Sailing Club was founded in 1961 and has grown to over 100 household memberships with in-water slips for over 70 boats and over 60 dry-sail spaces. The Club has evolved into a high quality facility for sailing thanks to the generosity of many individual sailors who continue to donate their talent and labor to the Club! Please take some time to leisurely sail through our website, and feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
