Charlevoix Yacht Club is over 35 Years old, financially sound, socially active and highly respected by other yachtsmen. As a volunteer organization, we maintain a Clubhouse facility which includes a social & program area, kitchen and bar. We run a successful Wednesday race series, and host the Red Fox Regatta which continues to draw nearly 100 boats from all over.
In addition, we organize many offshore events and fun social occasions. Many members are making their mark in other big races, and many, power and sail alike, are very active cruisers and find their way all over the Great Lakes. Our diversified membership of active boaters makes for fun social events and great stories around the fireplace during the winter on Friday nights. Charlevoix Yacht Club was formally established by a group of local yachtsmen with the publishing of a cruising schedule in 1970.
