The ubiquitous Laser Laser Radial and Wayfarers are raced alongside various types of RS representing the more exotic side of the sport; catamarans are not sailed at Locks because there is insufficient compound space. There is also a cruiser sailing section.
There is club sailing at weekends throughout the year and on Thursday evenings during the summer months. Adopted classes are Enterprises Solos Toppers Optimists Comets and sailboards. There are also active RS200 and Laser classes and a large handicap fleet.
Island Barn Reservoir Sailing Club (formerly Walton-on-Thames Sailing Club) located in West Molesey Surrey is one of the friendliest clubs around (both afloat and ashore!) with strong Laser Topper and Solo fleets plus a wide range of other boats. We provide easy and uncrowded launching, good turnouts and excellent facilities for both sailors and spectators.
HBSC is a friendly family-oriented dinghy-sailing club on the north Kent coast. Members sail a wide range of boats the biggest classes being Laser Ones and Dart 15s. There are also Laser2000s Hornets, Pacers, Mirrors, Solos and Toppers.
Located on the sheltered north east shore of Lough Neagh Antrim Boat Club sits in woodland just a short walk along the beach from Shanes Castle. Most of our events take place in Antrim Bay giving a safe area of about six square miles while at any time never being out of sight of land. As one of the leading sailing clubs on Lough Neagh, Antrim Boat Club hosts a range of sailing events. From the competitive winter series, attracting boats and sailors from Strangford Lough and further a field, to the more relaxed summer series taking place on warm Thursday evenings throughout the summer months.

Carrickfergus Sailing Club provide excellent clubhouse facilities, with friendly staff. The restaurant and bar overlooks Belfast Lough, so you chill out in the club house and watch all the sailing activity on the Lough.
Located on the edge of Larne Lough in East Antrim Northern Ireland, we believe our club to be situated on some of the best sailing waters in the UK. With members of all ages and ambitions, we have a healthy mix from cruising yachts through to competitive dinghies.

Foynes is located in the southwest of Ireland on the southern shore of the Shannon estuary on a channel formed by Foynes Island. It has a very busy commercial port and to the west of this Foynes Yacht club. It is about 25 miles west of Limerick city on the N69. In the club there are about 12 yacht over 9 metres, eight in the 7-9 metre range and about ten active mermaids plus other dinghies. We race every Wednesday evening during the summer months and on Sundays in September as well as some annual weekend events. In all there are just over 130 members. Our facilities include a modern clubhouse with bar, dance floor, toilets and showers. We have a pontoon which can accommodate approximately eight visiting boats, four club boats, the club crashboat and 12 dinghies. All other boats are kept on swinging moorings on the east side of Foynes island. Additionally there is a wintering compound for 30 yachts and a launching slip.
Baltimore Sailing Club was founded in 1956 as a summer sailing club. From its inception it has been successfully developing leisure and competitive sailing in Baltimore Harbour. The Club over the years has continued to expand and teach safe sailing skills to young people from all backgrounds. With a function room, kitchen and bar it is very active in the summer months running sailing events, courses and many social activities.
Kinsale Yacht Club, as it exists today, was established in 1950. In the 1990s, the Club embarked on three separate extensions to the clubhouse. By this time, KYC had become one of the leading yacht clubs in the country. Junior sailing now encompasses Optimists, Lasers and 420''s. One design racing takes in International Dragons and Squibs. The Club also supports three very strong Cruiser Classes (Class I, II and III) who now joined by a more relaxed White Sail Fleet.
