Facilities include docks in two sheltered coves with slips for 160 boats up to 30' in length, and up to 76 board boats stored on the docks for easy launch access. In addition there are over 200 parking spaces on the grounds for trailered boats, with two launch ramps that are usable over a wide range of lake levels.

Bay Yacht Club provides a friendly, competitive Saturday race series for its members to compete throughout the year as well as three traditional annual races, Offshore Race, Navy Regatta, Commodore''s Cup and the Turkey Day Regatta. Participating boats involved in the Saturday Series Races are handicapped based on their design, equipment and skill level of the crew.

The Bay Yacht Club offers its members chances to participate in organized group cruises to local destinations around and/or near Corpus Christi Bay. After reaching the destinations, cruisers will either anchor out, raft up and have a party on a host boat or if, in a marina, head for a local restaurant for a meal together.
