Description

Our aim is to encourage and promote sailing and racing on Lake Windermere. We run an extensive racing programme from April to October, and social events throughout the year.

We have a membership of over 500 people. A number of classes of boat are sailed including the local Windermere Keelboat the Windermere 17' Lasers Flying Fifteens GP14's, RS400 and Mirrors.

Description

From its inception in 1971 Scaling Dam S.C. has been a thriving dinghy sailing club which has attracted families learning to sail in safety. The Club celebrated 25 years of sailing at Scaling in July 1996.

The venue is a also great place for windsurfing with good winds and ample grassed areas for rigging etc. Also, an increasing number of members now enjoy kayaking, canoeing and paddle-boarding at the club.

Description

Racing sailing boats is a passion at Hayling Island Sailing Club. As in most walks of life, every individual has a preference for the kind of racing that they wish to do, and in order to cater for these preferences, HISC provides a full and varied racing programme.

There are several classes active at the club, including three Junior and Youth classes, which provide whatever style of sailing a member may wish to choose, from una rig single hander to twin trapeze asymetric to keel boat. The club is situated in the village of Sandbank on the east side of the Holy Loch adjacent to Holy Loch Marina a couple of miles from Dunoon on the A885. The Holy Loch scenery is simply stunning and courses are set to accommodate a variety of conditions. The sheltered moorings and slip allow racing in everything from the very calm to the thoroughly brisk. There is a dinghy park and a locked 'cage' for storage of inflatables and the club administers the Crown Estate mooring license scheme.

Club Information Lough Neagh Sailing Club is situated at the southern end of the largest inland waterway in the British Isles. The racing area is superb and also offers an exciting - but safe - cruising ground with access to the open sea via the Lower Bann. We are now based in Kinnego Marina at the south end of Kinnego Bay. This is the largest & most modern marina on the Lough and we are well provided with excellent support services from Craigavon Borough Council and chandlery, boat sales and repair services provided by Waterline Marine.

PSC and Bedford Canoeists Association (BCA) together form Priory Water Sports Association (PWSA). Both PSC and BCA use the facilities but operate independently. Established in 1976 the Club can incorporate 400 members and has developed over the past few years.

We have a full programme of racing with Lasers, Toppers, Herons and Solo dinghies. Only restriction is that multihulls are not allowed.
