The club has substantial premises in a prime location on Weymouth's beautiful harbour, moorings for about 120 boats, a dinghy park and a slipway. It is primarily a racing club and runs a full race programme from April to December, but there are also many members whose main interest is cruising. The Club also has an active social programme.

East Lothian Yacht Club is one of the premier sailing clubs in Scotland, with a magnificent expanse of water from the sandy beaches and harbour to the Bass Rock and the North Sea beyond. In 2001 the club became a recognised RYA Teaching Establishment, and achieved RYA Powerboat Training Status. The next year the club was awarded RYA Sailability Foundation Level Recognition and Volvo Youth Sailing Status. Also the club was RYA Scotland ''Club of the Year 2007''. The club has an excellent reputation for hosting major UK and Scottish Championships. In recent years the following classes have come to North Berwick for their UK championships: Contender, Enterprise, International 14, Laser2000, Musto Skiff, RS200, RS400, Solo, Tasar, Topper.

Here at Hastings & St Leonards Sailing Club we can look back at over some fifty one years of providing some fantastic sailing & related social facilities. We currently have fleets of the following classes, however all classes are accepted as long as they fit through the boat house doors (shearwaters and hobbies just make it through!) Currently our largest racing fleets are the Laser and Dart 16, closely followed by developing Merlin Rocket and Miracle fleets. The attractive licensed Club House affords facilities for dances and other social events attracting the non-sailing member, while the sailors can obtain hot meals from the well equipped kitchen.

We are a family-centred sailing club located on an unspoilt beach at the western end of a 3km stretch of beach fronting the small seaside town of Seaford. Almost uniquely, the club has an inland site at Piddinghoe Lake, where our RYA-accredited sailing school is located. Here you can learn how to sail and windsurf in a safe and protected environment before venturing out on the sea. Powerboat training is undertaken out of Newhaven Marina. We are based in Granton Harbour, just ten minutes from Edinburgh's city centre. For our boat owning members we maintain swinging moorings in the harbour and our yard provides winter storage for them.The waters of the Firth of Forth, just outside the harbour entrance, are comparable with any for holding major regattas as well as running a packed club racing programme each season for yachts and dinghies.

The east coast of Scotland is not recognised as highly as it should be as a cruising ground but our members sail the coast north and south and of course northern Europe and the Baltic are only a short hop across the North Sea. The Club is an RYA Recognised Training Establishment and conducts a number of courses throughout the year as well as regular training evenings throughout the season. We also own a number of modern dinghies that are available for our members use.

Ardleigh Sailing Club is a thriving and friendly club situated just outside Colchester, Essex. The 136 acres of water provide an excellent resource for racing, training or just cruising. There are many facilities for family sailors, racers and those who just like to relax and socialise. The clubhouse includes recently refurbished changing rooms, wet and dry lounges, bar and galley. Competitive racing occurs all year round amongst the many different types of dinghy at the club. Sunday morning and Wednesday evening series are both keenly contested. In the winter months, the Winter and Frostbite series see a large influx of visiting boats to take advantage of excellent close racing. During the season a number of open meetings are held for various classes, drawing in competitors from all over the country.

Training is given a high priority at Ardleigh. The water is perfectly suited for beginners and improvers, with it's easy launching facilities and challenging winds. The club has three support boats and a number of trained instructors amongst the committee. Courses are run throughout the summer and there is an active youth scene at the club.

We are a friendly club, positively welcoming new members, whether novices or world champions. We aim to cater for all sailing tastes with our active dinghy, cruiser and windsurfing sections, however powerboats are not permitted at the club. Formed some 50 years ago by sailors from the Harlow area, we are situated at Maylandsea on Lawling Creek, off the tidal River Blackwater. We're about 25 minutes drive from Chelmsford and 10 minutes from Maldon. We own a private wooden jetty extending well out into the creek, permitting sailing some 2 to 3 hours either side of high water. Our well equiped clubhouse provideds extensive views over the creek and saltings and features a bar and galley.

Our home water is the Colne/Blackwater estuary, an area that provides us with sheltered sea sailing at all states of the tides – not to mention some of the most unspoilt coastline in the South.

For racing the location is unbeatable, for pottering, its creeks and rivers offer a lifetime of hideaways to explore and wildlife to discover.

The club boasts excellent facilities – including a wide launching ramp, adjacent dinghy and private car park, large bar and galley and spacious changing rooms.

Our south-facing terrace borders the sandy beach which provides a safe place for the little ones to play whilst mum or dad are sailing.
