The Goring Thames Sailing Club aims are to provide sailing and social facilities for its members and to encourage sailing and dinghy racing on the Thames. A comprehensive programme of racing is organised throughout the season and even the least experienced members are encouraged to take part. Those who are not interested in racing can explore some of the most delightful stretches of the river and exercise or develop their skills in river sailing. The GTSC is an authorised RYA Training Centre.

The size of Rutland Water ensures plenty of enjoyable sailing, but the Club''s basic aim is to transform this enjoyment into very much more by providing the right level of facilities for all its members. There can be few inland waters which genuinely boast of cruising but Rutland Water does and members can spend a whole day on the water.
The size of Rutland Water ensures that leisure sailors can enjoy their gentle sport without tangling with the racing fraternity - even when a major Open Meeting and two Club Series races are in progress. These are classes which the club encourages and supports. They are selected for their suitability for the water on which we sail and current level of activity and enthusiasm at the club. These include Laser 1, Laser 2000, Laser 4000, RS400, RS800, Musto Performance Skiff, Laser S3B, Formula One, Squib, F18s (Nacra, Hobie Tiger, Dart Hawk), Hurricane 5.9 and SX, Stealth F16, Dart 18, Shadow, Optimist, Topper, Pico, RS Feva and 29er.

Colemere Sailing Club is located near Ellesmere in North Shropshire, UK. We presently have approximately Seventy members who sail many types of dinghies. Overlooking the mere, our beautiful clubhouse contains changing rooms, showers, a small kitchen and a club-room. There is also a secure dinghy park so that members can leave their boats at the Club throughout the year.
We are a small, friendly club that aims to accommodate the interests of individual members, of families, of keen racing sailors and of those who just enjoy messing about in boats. Whitemere provides beginners with safe sailing in attractive surroundings, although the surrounding trees can give rise to fluky winds which can test the skills of the most experienced sailor. It''s a delightful place to spend a sunny summer day even if you don''t manage to get into a boat! New members are always welcome.
